(Senior) Fullstack Engineer

The Company

I'm partnering with a young Berlin-based company dedicated to revolutionising the future of speech therapy. Today, they have over 90 speech therapists across 13 practices and are continuously growing. That's why they are building a product and tech team in their Berlin headquarters to develop innovative software solutions, driving digital transformation in this area of healthcare, and supporting our nationwide practices with in-house software.

They are looking for an experienced Fullstack Engineer to help develop our practice management system and optimise the patient journey in speech therapy as part of the tech team.

As an all-rounder and Fullstack Engineer, you will apply your knowledge of frontend and backend development to bring various web and software projects to life. You will work on the development and implementation of technical solutions for our group of practices and play a key role in building and maintaining their software architecture.

Your Responsibilities

• Based on product requirements, you will make architectural decisions in the team and implement software solutions, keeping an overall view of both backend and frontend.
• You will develop and maintain the frontend and backend solutions using React, React-Admin, TypeScript, and NestJS.
• You will build the internal database structure with PostgreSQL.
• You will integrate internal and external APIs, ensuring smooth communication with the systems.
• You will ensure technical quality through testing.
• You will focus on optimising their applications for maximum security, stability, and performance.

Your Profile

• Completed studies in computer science or a comparable qualification.
• At least 4 years of professional experience as a Fullstack Engineer.
• Solid knowledge of software architecture and database structures.
• Extensive experience in development with React, React-Admin, TypeScript, Node or NestJS, and modern frontend technologies.
• Bonus: Experience with Kysely Query Builder or similar SQL tools.
• Fluent in German, both spoken and written.
• Independent working style and strong problem-solving skills.
• Bonus points for experience in the HealthTech sector with its strict data protection regulations in Germany.
