We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a prominent South Korean automotive giant. The company has grown into a leader in Korea’s automobile industry and is among the biggest vehicle manufacturers worldwide. Employees in the location in Rüsselsheim are working on making sure automotive products of the company meet the demanding standards of European customers and are adapted to the needs of that specific market.


We are currently seeking for our client's Planning and Project Management division an Engineer for Product Compliance & Market Surveillance (M/F/D).


You will be responsible for:

  • Monitoring of Regulation and Compliance Regulation
  • Handling / recording of product compliance status
  • Investigation of compliance issues and analysis
  • Contribution to company’s global compliance strategy
  • Close cooperation with company departments, Regional Headquarters and R&D Centers
  • Collaboration especially with Authorities, NGO’s, test- laboratories; attending relevant meetings


Who we are looking for:

  • Degree in Automotive Engineering or comparable.
  • Experience in Vehicle Type Approval Regulation at an OEM, Tier1 supplier, Technical Service or Association.
  • Analytical way of working and interdisciplinary way of thinking
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Highly pronounced negotiation skills
  • Willingness to travel
  • A good command of English language
  • A good knowledge of the MS-Office applications
  • Interest in automotive topics
