Location: London
Salary: £25,000 - £35,000
About:
Aztrum is working with an independent Environmental Noise & Vibration Consultancy in their search for an established Acoustic Consultant to join their growing team in London. You’ll be given the chance to gain experience on a range of projects including airport noise, rail construction noise management, data centre noise assessments, planning applications, entertainment spaces including London in the Sky & many more!
Key Responsibilities
As an Acoustic Consultant, you will play a vital role in supporting the acoustics team. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Conducting noise and vibration assessments for various development projects
Assisting with acoustic measurements, data collection, and analysis
Undertaking acoustic modelling using CadnaA and ODEON software
Preparing technical reports, environmental statements, and assessment documentation
Collaborating with clients, stakeholders, and project teams to deliver effective acoustic solutions
Keeping up-to-date with the latest industry regulations, standards, and best practicesCandidate Requirements
The ideal candidate for this role is a motivated individual with a strong background in Acoustic Consultancy. To thrive in this role, you should have:
Previous experience working in a similar role within a UK based consultancy - experience can be either environmental, building or architectural focussed.
A degree in Acoustics, Mathematics, Sound Engineering, Physics, Environmental Engineering or a related discipline
A willingness to travel for site visits and client meetings, with a valid UK driving license being essential
Strong analytical skills and attention to detailWhy Join?
