Job Description
We’re partnering with our client to recruit a Group Health & Safety Manager to oversee the groups manufacturing facilities throughout the Greater Manchester area, ensuring compliance with H&S procedures.

About You
* You’ll be an experience Health & Safety Manager with experience gained from the manufacturing or engineering industry.
* You’ll enjoy a busy and varied role, as you’d expect with a role with multiple sites.
* You’ll work effectively as a team to ensure compliance throughout and work equally as well in an autonomous role.
* IOSH general certificate
About The Job
* Manage all Health and Safety related issues within the group.
* Maintain training records and ensure the team are fully aware of policies and procedures, ensuring correct PPE and suitable equipment for the areas of work.
* Control and manage departmental budget spend.
* To chair monthly health and safety meetings and manage actions on the findings raised.
* To arrange and log fire drills and manage corrective action.
* Identify and deliver training in health and safety related issues (eg first aiders, fire marshals etc) ensuring that individual employee training certification remain valid.
* To complete COSHH assessments.
