Job Title: Financial Controller
Location: Ulverston
Salary: £38,000 - £43,000
Hours: 30 - 40 hours per week (flexible hours)

Key Responsibilities:
Preparation and production of monthly management accounts
Balance sheet reconciliations
Management of accruals, prepayments, and P&L reconciliations
Preparation and submission of VAT returns
Overseeing financial reporting and analysis
Managing accounts payable and receivable processes
Conducting financial forecasting and budgeting
Ensuring compliance with financial regulations
Providing leadership, guidance, and support to the finance team
Required Experience and Skills:
Proven experience in financial services or a related field
Strong skills in accounts payable, financial accounting, and financial planning
Excellent leadership abilities with the capability to motivate and manage a team
Qualifications:
Professional certification such as ACCA or CIMA is desirable
Strong analytic and problem-solving skills
