Job Description
Salary: £26,000 per annum
Location: Green Lane, Walsall (Hybrid - 3dpw typically in the office)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
We’re looking for an MI Analyst to join our team, where you’ll deliver accurate reports, streamline processes, and drive improvements. If you’re detail-oriented, adaptable, and ready to make a difference, we’d like to hear from you.
The Role:
Produce standard reports and ad hoc analysis - Ensure that reports are allocated to the most appropriate resource, produced accurately, identify any issues and ensure reports are compliant with audit standards. Requires a high level of attention to detail.
Improve Processes - Identify any potential changes that would benefit the operation, investigate how feasible these changes would be, and implement changes using the tools available. You will need to be someone who embraces and drives change.
Testing - Design the appropriate test scenarios to ensure that new reports are robust and accurate. Candidate must be meticulous and motivated.
Provide support - Management responsibility; undertake regular performance reviews, actively seek to develop and coach team members and agree relevant objectives with Business Intelligence Manager. Requires good communication skills.
What You’ll Need:
Experience working in a Management Information (MI) environment, managing large datasets and high volumes of data.
SQL knowledge is desirable
Highly numerate, with excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
Skilled in developing queries to analyse data, translating insights into relevant reports or analysis, and effectively communicating results to various stakeholders.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a track record of delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines.
Able to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Systematic, organised, with strong planning and prioritisation skills.
