HV Electrical Engineer - 55k + Package
Are you an experienced HV Electrical Engineer with a passion for working on high-stakes, critical sites ?
We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated HV Electrical Engineer to join our team at a high-profile, corporate critical site located on The Strand, London. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the operation and maintenance of electrical systems in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain, operate, and repair high voltage (HV) electrical systems and equipment.
* Conduct routine inspections, testing, and diagnostics of electrical assets.
* Respond to and resolve electrical faults and emergencies promptly.
* Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
* Work alongside other engineers and technicians to implement preventive maintenance plans.
* Liaise with stakeholders to ensure minimal disruption to critical operations.
* Participate in on-call support for emergency incidents and provide expertise as needed.
Key Requirements:
* Previous HV electrical engineering experience is essential, with proven hands-on experience working on high voltage systems.
* Ideally hold a valid HV ticket (City & Guilds or equivalent) and have current certification.
* Strong knowledge of electrical safety standards and relevant regulations (e.g., 18th Edition, HV switchgear, circuit protection).
* Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
* Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
* Strong communication skills and ability to liaise with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Flexible attitude toward overtime and emergency work, with availability outside regular hours as required.
