The Opportunity

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our Planning & GTM team as OBS (Online Brand Store) Business Planning & Operation Manager. Our team is responsible for supporting our Sales, Product and Marketing teams with meaningful data and insight to help position our products in the best way. As OBS Business & Operation Manager, you will play a key role in LG Online Brand Store with overall CE product group, you will be expected to own the responsibility to operate OBS business as well as co-work with Marketing team and Product Team.



Your Role & Responsibilities

OBS PPP & Marketing Activities


  • Manage / update / monitor system registration with aligned with BU promotional calendar (Price & Promotional Activities)
  • Plan and Develop for OBS exclusive promotional activities as well as considering BU overall promotion & marketing, with co-working IMC / DX team as well as Product BU Team
  • With align the target, annual & monthly Sales Planning. Maintain seasonality trend and impact of exceptional market movement: promotional activity, national/international events.
  • Establish LG.com as preferred shopping destination for all LG Electronics products, beyond only product experience, co- work with CX Team in DX
  • Day to day management of creative agencies to execute E-Commence and digital marketing campaigns and analyse assets performance.
  • Bring innovation by bringing outside-the-box ideas, leveraging data, and building insights to create business cases to build scalable products and promotions to drive the growth of OBS business; develop functional capabilities to test, learn and iterate to accelerate category growth.
  • Develop data-drive perspectives on the end-to-end operations of the business, from upper-funnel marketing and merchandising to on-site path-to-purchase and experience, through conversion, identify areas of opportunity and work cross functionally to drive operational efficiencies.



OBS PSI & Profit Management


  • Analysis of historical trend, PSI and market trend on a weekly basis using statistical analysis tools to generate weekly / monthly forecast. (Sales, Inventory, P&L)
  • Facilitate Consensus meeting with relevant teams to confirm Sales forecast. Manage agreement and drive judgment towards realistic and accurate forecast & delivery plan. Collate, share and input weekly forecast data to GDMI
  • Keep day-to-day operations on track. Analyse, streamline and simplify processes.
  • P&L Management include COI analysis



OBS Operation Management


  • Responsible for delivering user friendly content that drives business outcomes and ensuring the website delivers an exceptional customer experience and sales growth
  • Make sure things happen on time, and communicate status. Utilize project management planning experience and software to manage all projects are on time and on budget.
  • Monitoring & Maintain OBS related system, i.e. E-Commerce system (Magento) vs. GERP etc..
  • Communicate clearly, supervise other related with OBS operation, answer any queries and provide guidance to all other parties (Other Sales Team, Product Management Team(Product Director), Order Desk, SCM, Accounting & Finance Team, Service Team etc.)
  • Develop communications for all digital touch points focusing on lower funnel, closing deals and short cut to conversion in collaboration with wider team and agency partners
  • Monitor periodical performance measures and supplier/customer non-conformance to enable process improvement in the Supply Chain. Provide fact based analysis with corrective action plan.
  • Working in conjunction with Marketing, Sales & Supply Chain Managers to develop and progressively improve forecasting process, improve accuracy and reduce forecast volatility through co-ordinated innovation activity (Include Korea HQ & European HQ)
  • Report the numbers. Create weekly and monthly metrics tracking system to use to make informed business decisions
  • Statistical Forecasting & Data Analysis
  • Provide various report accurately (daily, weekly, monthly & Ad-Hoc)


Skills, Education & Experience

  • Educated to degree level in related discipline or equivalent experience required
  • Strong knowledge on financial reporting, cost structure, and sales deduction in consumer goods industry
  • Commercial acumen with an ability to provide commercial & promotional insights with actionable recommendation under tight timescales across business functions
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint are required.
  • Knowledge of return on investment modelling
  • Experience of communicating and presenting data with an emphasis on the insight the data delivers
  • Excellent project management experience & time management
  • Proven problem solving skills with the ability to balance conflicting interest
  • Experience of working within a performance management environment (KPI’s)
