Job Description
Hexwired has partnered with an exciting electronics manufacturer in the London area, looking for an Embedded Software Engineer. The company seeks an individual with experience in embedded C, C++, and multi-process development on RTOS.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee software development stages from concept to completion
* Develop, document, and share software solutions using best practices
* Analyse and interpret product requirements and specifications
* Suggest and drive improvements in both technology and processes
* Work on multiple projects simultaneously to develop tailored solutions
* Create technical documentation and testing strategies
* Handle software version control and configuration management
Requirements
* Proficient in embedded C and C++
* Experience in multi-threaded and real-time systems development
* Familiarity with Linux or Windows APIs in embedded systems
* Strong skills in debugging within integrated development environments (IDEs)
* Knowledge of UML, Agile methodologies, and SOLID design principles
Desirable
* Understanding of PID control and the ability to read electronic schematics
* Experience in managing risks and designing multi-processor systems
