Accounts Assistant
I am currently recruiting on behalf of my prestigious client, based in Orwell, Cambridge, for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join on a full-time, permanent basis.
The successful applicant will work across three companies, in charge of three specific areas - accounts receivable (credit control), accounts payable and cash postings.
The client are offering a competitive salary along with the opportunity for 1-day hybrid/remote working day per week.
Due to location, candidates need their own transport.
About the role:
* Co-management of the finance email inbox
* Ensuring queries are answered effectively
* Credit control
* Overseeing weekly BACS run and payments to suppliers
* Processing supplier invoices, delivery and GRN notes
* Weekly and monthly bank reconciliations
* Assisting with month end duties including credit card on-line system, fuel card entries
* Various other ad-hoc duties
Hours and Pay:
* Monday to Friday
* Salary up to £35,000 - dependent on experience
* 1-day hybrid/remote working
* Private medical healthcare cover
* Training and development opportunities
About you:
* Proven accounts/finance experience is essential
* Accounts receivable, accounts payable and cash postings experience is also essential
* NetSuite experience is advantageous
* Competent daily user of Microsoft Office and Excel
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
* Ability to meet deadlines and targets
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
