About the Role:
As an English Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective English lessons across different year groups. You will create a positive and stimulating learning environment, adapt to various teaching styles, and ensure that all students receive the support they need to succeed. Your role will involve assessing students’ progress, providing feedback, and maintaining a cohesive and supportive educational experience.
Key Responsibilities of English Teacher:
Deliver engaging and effective English lessons that align with the national curriculum standards.
Adapt teaching methods to cater to the diverse needs and abilities of students.
Foster a welcoming and inclusive classroom atmosphere where all students feel valued and supported.
Assess students’ progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve.
Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive educational experience.
Provide additional support to students who may be struggling, helping them to overcome challenges and achieve their full potential.
Maintain detailed records of students’ progress, attendance, and behaviour.
Requirements of English Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Previous experience in teaching English or a related subject is desirable.
Strong knowledge of the English curriculum and effective teaching methods.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to inspire and motivate students.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
