Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
Milton Keynes - static site
£40,000 per annum plus call out and overtime
Permanent role for a mechanically biased engineer to work at a recently refurbished and upgraded site in Milton Keynes. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of various mechanical systems and equipment, including pumps, air handling units (AHUs), fan coil units (FCUs), boilers, and water treatment systems.
Working Hours:
• Week 1: Mon - Fri, 7am - 4pm
• Week 2: 10am - 7pm
• Call-out: 1 in 5 (Tues to Sat) with a standby rate of £200. Engineer will work on Tuesdays and Saturdays when called out.
Your main duties will include (but not limited to)
Planned and reactive maintenance on mechanical plant.
Maintenance on mechanical plant such as pumps, air handling units, fan coils, water treatment.
Supporting other trades on minor projects as and when required.
Escorting sub contractors.
Ideally, you'll hold a formal qualification such as City and Guilds or NVQ in Mechanical Engineer, Plumbing or Pipefitting, and be able to successfully pass a DBS check.
