Semi Senior Accountant
Leeds
37-hour workweek with flexible working around core hours (10:30 am - 4:00 pm)
Do you have 3 years or more accountancy experience?
Do you have strong prioritisation and organisational abilities?

As a Semi-Senior Accountant, you will be required to:
* Prepare financial statements and tax returns for small to medium-sized businesses
* Perform corporation tax calculations, VAT returns, and management accounts
* Engage in client interaction and provide excellent customer service
* Train apprentices and support their development
* Take on additional responsibilities such as payroll and company secretarial duties
Candidate:
* Minimum of 3 years' experience in an accountancy practice
* Proficient in cloud-based bookkeeping software such as QuickBooks and Xero
* Experience with Sage 50, Iris, and Sage Business Cloud is advantageous
* Proficient in written and technical skills
* Strong prioritisation and organisational abilities
* Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
* AAT qualified or similar
* Open to offering a training contract with ICAEW or ACCA for further career progression
