multi skilled maintenance engineer

Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineers with an electrical bias to join a global engineering company based in the uk
The engineer provides a broad-based electrical knowledge with the drive to learn some mechanical skills to become a multi skilled engineer. The correct candidate will come with a right first time mentality and a proactive approach to identifying ways to improve the site’s performance.
Good communication skills are required to ensure that a professional relationship with the client is developed and maintained at all times. This will be working on fully automated material handling equipment such as conveyors, cranes and sortation ETC
Desired Skills & Experience
Minimum NVQ Level 2 / City and Guilds in an electrical engineering discipline
Previous experience of working in an operational engineering role within a similar environment
Experience of managing small teams on a customer site
able to work 4 on 4off days and night shifts
Familiar with basic hand tools such as spanners, screwdrivers, Allen keys
Excellent communication skills and customer focus
Ability to work in a time critical environment. Application Process
