YOUR TASKS

• You bring your legal know-how, your economic understanding and your creativity to the legal structuring and execution of local and international commercial agreements, including intra-group arrangements.
• You will act as a point of contact for our clients on complex commercial issues, including commercial contracts, terms & conditions, data protection and compliance topics, and support in the further development of the commercial team.
• You will take on the lead role in the execution and coordination of commercial and compliance matters in due diligence projects.
• You will take on a leadership role and contribute to the professional development of young professionals and trainee solicitors in the firm.

YOUR PROFILE

• An excellent legal qualification, possibly with international exposure, as well as experience in an international advisory environment at mid to senior associate level.
• You enjoy client contact and advising them with an in-house counsel approach and with their commercial interests in mind.
• You have experience in drafting, advising on and negotiating a wide range of commercial matters, including

Ø supply and distribution agreements, as well as agency and franchise agreements;

Ø B2B and B2C terms & conditions, data protection law;

Ø IT, IP, licensing, assignments and brand collaborations;

Ø anti-bribery and anti-corruption policies, modern slavery rules;

• You have some exposure to merger control and capital markets law.
• You can work autonomously but can also collaborate effectively as part of the wider team.
• Professional proficiency in German within a working environment, ideally acquired abroad, would be beneficial
