Senior Cloud Engineer - Azure
Senior Cloud Engineer responsibility for designing, deploying, and managing scalable, secure, and efficient Azure cloud infrastructure solutions.
Working for an excellent, well established MSP working on exciting projects. Collaborating with various teams to ensure cloud solutions are optimised for performance, cost efficency, security.
You will have strong cloud architecture experience and infrastructure. Experience with automation scripting, CI/CD tools (e.g., Terraform, PowerShell, Python, Azure DevOps). Working to integrate IaaS and PaaS services to meet full customer requirements and deliver robust cloud solutions.
You will oversee and manage complex Azure cloud deployments, ensuring optimal performance, availability, and cost-efficiency with exp of Azure services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS). Familiarity with monitoring tools (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, etc.).
You will continuously monitor and optimize cloud resource utilisation, implement a continuous improvement approach in cloud system development, working with internal teams to ensure changes are delivered with minimal risk to downtime.
Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Security Engineer) are preferred.
As part of the role you will be involved with monitoring cloud infrastructure performance, identify issues, and troubleshoot to ensure continuous uptime and resource optimisation. You must be proactive with strong communication skills to address potential performance bottlenecks and ensure cost-effective resource management. Designing and deploying Azure cloud systems with a security-first mindset.
