Job Description

NES Fircroft are currently recruiting a Process Safety Engineer on behalf of our major Chemical client, based in Newton Aycliffe. This is a long-term (1+ year), outside IR35 contract opportunity working full time (Mon-Fri).

The Process Safety Engineer will support the client across Process and Safety activities on the site's assets including both projects/design and operations.

Qualifications and Required Experience:
Degree holder in Chemical Engineering / Equivalent.
Chartered Engineer with significant Process Safety experience within the Chemical industry or similar.
Experience and understanding of both Design and Operational roles.
Have strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complicated systems and regulations.
Have risk assessment skills – knowledge of specific tools required and ability to interpret results.
