Senior Civil Engineer – Newcastle

We’re working with a global engineering firm that’s partnered with Northumbrian Water to find a Senior Civil Engineer for their growing Newcastle team. About the Role
As a Senior Civil Engineer, you’ll play a crucial role in delivering a range of projects under a major capital investment programme. You’ll provide technical solutions and advice, mentor junior engineers, and support Project Managers and Team Leaders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
What We’re Looking For
• Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or a related field
• Ideally Incorporated or Chartered with a relevant institution such as ICE or CIWEM
• Previous consultancy experience is preferred, particularly in leading and mentoring engineers
• Expertise in water and wastewater infrastructure, networks, and treatment
• Experience in one or more technical areas such as Sustainable Urban Drainage, Trunk Mains, Pipeline Design, Service Reservoirs, or Clean Water Treatment
