Maintenance Engineer (Electrical)

Newbridge-on-Wye, Wales

£18.57 Per hour, 39hr week (£37,761) + Overtime Opportunities Available, Saturday O/T rate paid at 1.5 x up to 16:00hrs, 2 x after that up to start of work Monday, + 31 Days Holiday + Pension + Life Assurance + Product Discount Scheme and Cash Back Schemes + Workwear provided + Course Funded Training Available + On The Job Training + Annual Tool Allowance up to £88.69 per annum.

Rotating 3 shift pattern:

Week 1: Sun-12.00pm-6.00am, Mon-Thurs 10pm-6am.
Week 2: Mon-Thurs 2pm-10pm, Fri 1pm – 9pm.
Week 3: Mon-Thurs 6pm-2pm, Fri 6am-1pm.

Maintenance Engineer required for a well-established manufacturer. This is a great opportunity to work in a team that can offer dedicated training on their machinery.

You will enjoy working for a reputable and people focussed comapny with excellent staff retention.

The Maintenance Engineer Role:

Split between PPM (Nights Bias) and Reactive Maintenance (Days Bias).
Electrically working on contactors, invertors, single and 3 phase electrics, motors and PLC fault finding (Training can be provided for PLCs).
Updating maintenance system and handing over to the following shift team.
Working as part of a mixed team of electrical and mechanical engineers.
Working on varied production lines, including mill machinery, biomass and treatment plant.
The Successful Maintenance Engineer:

You will have previous experience as an electrical engineer within an industrial environment or similar.
You will have your electrical edition 17th or 18th or equivalent and have a qualification in electrical installations
