Job Description
Job title: Senior Quantity Surveyor
Job Type: Contract
Start date: ASAP - Subject to clearance
Duration: 12 months
Location: Preston
Hours of work: 40 hours Monday-Friday
Applicants must have experience of the following:
- Able to gain SC clearance
- Highly regulated industry experience
- Commercial experience
- Understanding of cost recording software and systems
- Experience of Cost Reimbursable Contracts
- BSc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
- Knowledge of CEMAR
Role information:
- Provide commercial aid with he delivery of contracted work
- Provide accurate and timely commercial reports
- Ensure the contract achieves the required commercial targets
- Monitor cost reports to ensure accuracy and appropriateness of cost and records
- Maximise the value derived from the incurred cost
- Manage risk and opportunities during contract delivery
- Provide expertise on risk and opportunities regarding tenders
