Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Electrical Contract Manager at BCS (Electrical and Building Services) Ltd in London Area, United Kingdom. The Electrical Contract Manager will be responsible for overseeing a recently awarded FIRE SAFETY WORKS contract, starting December 2024. The scope includes the following:

• Fire detection and alarm systems (including smoke and heat detectors within dwellings and integrated systems in common parts)

• Evacuation alert systems (to be used by Fire & Rescue Service)

• Installation of fire / smoke dampers within flats onto communal ducts

• Emergency and communal lighting

• Smoke ventilation systems (mechanical and natural smoke and heat exhaust ventilation systems including AOVs)

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in electrical project management and contract management skills
• Knowledge of building regulations and electrical codes
• Experience in coordinating with clients and contractors
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to manage project schedules and budgets effectively
• Detail-oriented and organized approach to work
• Relevant qualifications in Electrical Engineering or related field
• BS 8629,2019 – Design, Installation, Commissioning and Maintenance of Evacuation Alert Systems
