Job Description

Recruitment Consultant

Legal Cannabis Industry

Twice a week to an Office in Manchester City Center

The Company:

Lumino is Europe’s first and leading Cannabis recruitment agency focused solely on recruiting within the rapidly expanding Cannabis industry. Since the legal cannabis market's inception in Europe in 2018, Lumino has been at the forefront of placing top talent within the Cannabis Industry across, CBD, Medical Cannabis, and other related markets. We are a young, dynamic team of entrepreneurs who are challenging traditional recruitment practices and shaping a young industry.

While we are pioneering recruitment in the cannabis industry, we also take great pride in being a recruitment agency that stands apart from the traditional models. Our approach is rooted in transparency, ethics, and honesty. We don’t follow the common trends or engage in the underhanded tactics often seen in recruitment. Instead, we are committed to doing things differently—genuinely putting people first. Not only are we revolutionizing recruitment within the cannabis industry, but we’re also redefining the standards of the recruitment process.

Although established in 2018, we are a fast-paced start-up. Our team is small but tight-knit, with five employees currently. After hiring our second recruiter in April, we are excited to continue growing the team as the market demand increases. The CEO and COO lead sales and marketing efforts, while the recruitment team—comprising a Recruitment Manager and one recruiter—focuses exclusively on 180 recruitment. You will report directly to the Recruitment Manager, collaborating closely on recruitment efforts while receiving ongoing training. At Lumino, collaboration is key, so you’ll also work with the CEO and COO on generating leads, providing market insights, and more.

Job Role:

This is a 180-agency role, meaning you won’t need to engage in external sales. With 90% of our business coming from exclusive partnerships, we bring the opportunities directly to you. Essentially, you'll be working as a Delivery Consultant/Internal Partner, collaborating closely with HR teams, CEOs, and hiring managers to identify top talent, deliver curated shortlists, and experience the satisfaction of filling key roles with exceptional candidates. You'll also play a vital role in shaping a young, rapidly growing industry that offers tremendous benefits to society.

Unlike traditional agencies, we focus on an industry vertical rather than candidate verticals. This means your recruitment scope will be diverse and dynamic—you could be hiring a Salesperson in Germany, a Project Manager in Spain, and a COO in the UK simultaneously, all within the legal cannabis industry. Given that many European countries, like Germany, have established large medical cannabis markets and even legalized recreational, a significant portion of our clients are internationally based. You’ll be recruiting for companies located in Germany, Portugal, Spain, France, the USA, and even as far as Thailand & Colombia.
