Job Description

Site Manager - Civils Experience

Hays are currently recruiting for a leading company specialising in the construction and maintenance of petrol stations and EV charging infrastructure. They're passionate leaders in sustainability and the change to electric.
This company is based in Devon, but does operate all across the UK, so travelling and the ability to stay away from home would be essential.
As a Site Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the construction sites, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of site operations, including safety, quality, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise all on-site activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Monitor project progress and prepare regular reports for senior management.
  • Ensure all materials and equipment are available and used efficiently.
  • Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise on-site promptly and effectively.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Site Manager in the construction industry, with a focus on civil.
  • SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Valid driving licence and willingness to travel to various sites
