Quality Technician
Location: St Ives, Cambridgeshire
Hours: Monday – Thursday 8:30am – 5:00pm and Friday 8:30am – 4:00pm
Salary: £25,000 - £35,000
Benefits: 22 days holiday rising to 25 days after 1 year service + bank holidays, Annual summer and Christmas social events, free on-site parking, company enrolled pension, discretionary annual bonus.
Duration: Permanent

Duties to Include:
* Perform inspections and tests on incoming materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
* Conduct audits of manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with quality standards.
* Document and report inspection results, non-conformances, and corrective actions.
* Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues.
* Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and standards.
* Maintain and calibrate inspection equipment and tools.
* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and efficiency.
Skills/Experience Required:
* Technical degree or certification in quality control or a related field.
* Proven experience as a Quality Technician or in a similar role within the engineering or manufacturing industry.
* Strong understanding of quality control principles, standards, and methodologies.
* Proficiency in using inspection tools and equipment (e.g., callipers, micrometers, gauges).
* Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Familiarity with ISO 9001 or other relevant quality management systems.
