About the Role
Due to expansion in our sister company TUV Rheinland Industrial Services (TRIS) we currently have fantastic opportunities for Mechanical Engineers to work for our Warrington and Belasis offices. We are looking for people who can perform detailed engineering and technical safety tasks, monitor contract progress against milestones and identify variation requests to support contract claims issuing.
Other responsibilities include
Planning and control - Follows work plans and cost estimates in one’s area of responsibility. Ensures quality deliverables on time and within targeted cost.
Risk and opportunity management - Supports risk assessments and implementation of resulting actions in one’s area of responsibility. Documents and handles technical risks according to mitigation guidelines.
Customer - Clarifies technical queries and progresses actions for customers. Interacts with all customers, other staff and contractors within one’s scope of deliverables.
Processes and tools - Uses standard processes, software and tools applicable to one’s area of responsibility. Reports process and tool inefficiencies, along with suggesting ideas for improvement.Qualifications
Essential - Minimum 2:1 Degree level qualified in a relevant Mechanical Engineering discipline.
Desirable - Engineering and Operating experience working in High Hazard Oil, Gas & Chemicals Industry. Associate or Chartered member of relevant institution e.g. Institution of Mechanical Engineers.
