Job Description
We are pleased to be recruiting a CNC Machinist for a client in the Blaenavon area.
Job Purpose
The Machinist role will be to work as part of a team to process product through the Machine shop.
Activities & Responsibilities
Work as part of a team to achieve departmental KPIs.
Operate manual vertical turning lathes and CNC vertical and horizontal turning lathes.
Right First Time, On Time In Full.
Ensuring SOP are followed at all times.
Record on a daily basis key data and information in accordance with the relevant system/process.
Contribute to continuous improvement by performing daily TPM, and 5S activities.
Logging production throughput data onto EFACS.Education & Qualifications
Manual Machining experience (both manual and CNC).
Motion control systems (Fanuc)
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings (2D) detailed written instructions.
Experience in programming.
GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English
Computer literateHours of Work
This is a 3 shift pattern of days, nights and afternoons - 37 hours per week
Base Salary £15.60 to £19.20 per hour (inclusive of shift allowance)
