Plumbing/Mechanical Supervisor
£48,000 - £50,000
A leading FM organisation is seeking a Plumbing/Mechanical Supervisor to oversee a prestigious contract in the Holborn area. In this role, you will manage a team of engineers delivering maintenance services within a commercial environment. The position involves a mix of plumbing and mechanical maintenance duties, with a particular focus on initially drainage systems—experience in these areas will be highly advantageous. Key Responsibilities:
Oversee a team of engineers and technicians, managing workloads, schedules, and performance.
Carry out or supervise maintenance, repairs, and installations for plumbing and mechanical systems, including HVAC, pumps, pipework, and boilers.
Ensure all works meet health and safety regulations, including COSHH, risk assessments, and permits to work.
Schedule and coordinate preventative maintenance, reactive repairs, and emergency call-outs.
Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and effective service delivery.
Maintain accurate records of completed works, inspections, and parts usage.
Mentor and train team members to enhance their technical and professional skills. Requirements:
Proven experience in mechanical/plumbing maintenance, with supervisory responsibilities.
NVQ or equivalent in Plumbing or Mechanical Engineering.
Strong knowledge of relevant building services systems, including HVAC and water treatment.
Excellent understanding of health and safety regulations and industry best practices.
Ability to manage teams and multitask in a fast-paced environment
