Java Developer

Hybrid / London

£50,000 - £65,000 + benefits

Our client, a leading UK digital transformation consultancy are currently in search of a Java Developer to join their team. With over 3000 consultants globally, their clients span across energy, utilities, health and life science, government, national security and finance.

As a Java Developer you will:

  • Full lifecycle software development in Java.
  • Successful delivery of high quality incremental software releases.
  • Participation in occasional client site integrations, demos, training and business development activities.
  • Support continuous improvement by investigating research on alternative technologies, tools and methods.

The ideal Java Developer will have:

  • You will be an experienced software developer with at least 3 years of professional software development using Java.
  • You'll have commercial cloud experience with either AWS, Azure or GCP.
  • Experience writing tests for existing and new code to ensure compatibility and stability
  • You will be experienced in using different types of source control (preferably Git)
  • You will work well within small teams, taking ownership of and delivering high quality software -
  • Microservice Architecture
  • Spring/Spring Boot

The Package:

  • £50,000 - £65,000
  • 10% bonus
