Job Description

Our client is a market leading business, a sophisticated and project-based engineering organisation in High Wycombe. As a result of further strong international growth, they are now seeking to add an experienced accounts assistant to their small but highly efficient finance team.

Supporting the Group Financial Controller, you will be tasked with looking after the transactional functions of the business. This will include the accounts payable (including staff expenses) and receivable functions (multi-currency), assisting with the month-end process: accruals, prepayments, journals, fixed assets etc., bank and balance sheet reconciliations and assisting with the Year-End close and Audit responsibilities and other ad-hoc duties as required.

It is important that you have prior experience of the above functions and within a relatively small working environment, You should have AAT level 2 or 3 qualifications and excellent Excel skills. Exposure to Xero accounting is also an advantage. You should be a diligent and focused individual. The role is mostly office based but will have the option of one day a week working from home.
