Qualifications

• 
  

  Bachelors Degree in in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Applied Sciences, Statistics or job-related discipline or equivalent experience

  
  


• 
  

  A minimum of 3 years' progressive experience in a related field required

  
  


• 
  

  Demonstrated leadership in modern HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

  
  


• 
  

  Demonstrated experience in at least 1 JavaScript web framework such as Angular, React, and/or Vue.js.

  
  


• 
  

  Demonstrated experience in contemporary tools and practices such as bundling, CSS pre-processors, and/or JavaScript transpilers.

  
  


• 
  

  Demonstrated knowledge of current trends and best practices in Frontend architecture, including performance optimization, accessibility, and usability.

  
  


• 
  

  Experience incorporating analytics into applications.

  
  


• 
  

  Basic understanding of mobile application development.

  
  


• 
  

  Demonstrated understanding of handling RESTful API’s requests and asynchronous data.

  
  


• 
  

  Basic understanding of Continuous Integration/Delivery pipeline.

  
  


• 
  

  Demonstrated knowledge of Test-Driven Development using testing tools such as Jasmine, Jest, and/or Enzyme.

  
  


• 
  

  Highly proficient understanding of version control software.

  
  


• 
  

  Basic understanding of design tools such as Sketch, Figma, and/or Adobe XD.

  
  


• 
  

  Demonstrated experience in accessibility and inclusive design

  
  


• 
  

  May support UX Directors and may participate in rapid prototyping efforts.

  
  


• 
  

  May mentor, train, and develop other Frontend Engineers to assure and improve the Frontend practice in the WWTAS User Experience team.

  
  


• 
  

  Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as excellent organizational skills on all tasks.
