Lead Quality Analyst - Selenium/Cypress

Responsibilities : Test Strategy and Planning : - Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies, plans, and procedures to ensure product quality. - Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and define test scope. - Identify and prioritize testing activities to optimize resource allocation. Automation Framework Development : - Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks using Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright. - Write efficient and maintainable test scripts to automate test cases. - Continuously improve automation frameworks to enhance efficiency and coverage. Test Execution and Reporting : - Execute test cases manually and through automation to identify defects. - Analyze test results and generate detailed reports to track progress and identify trends. - Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot issues and resolve defects. Team Leadership and Mentoring : - Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, fostering a culture of quality and excellence. - Provide technical guidance and support to team members. - Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback. Process Improvement : - Continuously identify opportunities to improve testing processes and methodologies. - Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. - Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies. Qualifications : - Experience : 5-8 years of experience in software quality assurance. - Automation Expertise : At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright. Technical Skills : - Proficient in JavaScript programming language. - Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies. - Experience with test case management tools like Jira. - Familiarity with web and mobile application testing. - Knowledge of scripting languages (i.e., Python, Ruby).
