ServiceNow Developer - ITSM Module

Role : ServiceNow Developer Location : Pune Experience Required : 6-15 Years Work Type : Hybrid (3 days from the office, no exceptions) Job Description : - 6 years of overall experience with 4 years in ServiceNow development, focusing on ITSM modules. - Expertise in ServiceNow Integration, Scripting, Service Portal, and Flow Designer. - ServiceNow Developer Certifications are a plus. - Strong verbal and written communication is a must. Roles and Responsibilities : ServiceNow Development : - Develop, configure, and customize core ITSM (IT Service Management) modules within ServiceNow to meet business needs. - Implement ServiceNow integrations with other third-party applications and services, ensuring seamless data flow and system interoperability. - Develop and maintain Service Portal, Flow Designer, and automate workflows to improve system efficiency. Scripting & Customization : - Develop custom scripts using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and AngularJS within ServiceNow to extend platform functionalities. - Customize ServiceNow applications to enhance business functionality, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. ServiceNow Certifications (Advantageous) : - Preference for candidates who hold ServiceNow Developer certifications for demonstrating proficiency and understanding of the platform. System Integration & Automation : - Develop and manage end-to-end ServiceNow integrations with other enterprise systems using REST, SOAP, and MID Server technologies. - Implement automated flows using Flow Designer to optimize task assignment, incident management, and service fulfillment. Troubleshooting and Support : - Provide technical support and troubleshooting for ServiceNow-related issues and requests, ensuring timely resolution of incidents and problems. - Optimize performance, reliability, and usability of the platform through regular monitoring and tuning. Communication & Collaboration : - Work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., IT, business units) to gather requirements, design solutions, and ensure successful implementation of ServiceNow modules. - Communicate effectively with stakeholders, both verbally and in writing, to provide project updates and technical insights. - Strong communication skills are essential; candidates with poor communication skills should not be submitted. Continuous Improvement : - Identify opportunities for process automation and improvements within the ServiceNow platform. - Stay updated on ServiceNow best practices and new features, implementing enhancements as needed.
