Job Description
Title : ServiceNow Architect Location : Remote. Duration : Contract. Your role : In the role of ServiceNow Architect, you will be responsible to lead and manage the architecture, design, and implementation of ServiceNow solutions. Your role would also involve designing and implementing integrations between ServiceNow and various external systems, applications, and services using the Integration hub. Need to have a deep understanding of the ServiceNow platform and its capabilities, a strong background in ITIL processes, and proven experience in driving large-scale projects to success. As a ServiceNow Architect, you will be responsible for ensuring that the ServiceNow platform is aligned with business objectives, driving continuous improvement, and optimizing workflows and automation. Responsibilities : - Lead the overall architecture, design, and delivery of ServiceNow solutions across various modules (Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Service Catalog,etc. ITOM, Etc). - Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions that align with business requirements and ITIL best practices. - Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and management to understand requirements and translate them into effective ServiceNow solutions. - Develop custom applications and workflows on the ServiceNow platform, including scripting, integrations, and process automation. - Architect integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems such as ERP, CRM, and external data sources using REST/SOAP APIs. - Define integration requirements, use cases, and data mapping. - Leverage Integration Hub's capabilities to build integrations using Spokes and Flows. - Use Flow Designer to design workflows for automated integrations. - Diagnose and resolve integration-related issues, including data discrepancies, system downtime, or connectivity issues. - Provide ongoing support and optimization for the integrations after they have been deployed. - Design scalable and reusable integration patterns for different services or platforms. - Provide expert guidance and mentorship to business analysts, developers, and project managers. - Ensure adherence to ServiceNow platform best practices, governance, and development standards. - Establish coding guidelines, version control, and deployment strategies to ensure quality and consistency in deliverables. - Continuously assess and improve the ServiceNow platform, recommending and implementing new features and capabilities. - Monitor and optimize platform performance, ensuring high availability and minimal downtime. - Lead and manage ServiceNow projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards. - Coordinate with cross-functional teams to drive project success and resolve any issues or challenges that arise. - Provide training and knowledge transfer to internal teams and end-users on ServiceNow best practices, new features, and functionalities. - Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the ServiceNow team. Required Qualifications : Experience : - 8 years of experience in IT service management (ITSM), with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in architecting and implementing solutions on the ServiceNow platform. - Proven experience leading large, complex ServiceNow implementations and integrations across multiple modules using Integration Hub. Technical Skills : - Strong knowledge of ServiceNow modules (e., ITSM, ITOM). - Expertise in ServiceNow platform architecture, including scripting (JavaScript, Glide scripting), workflow automation, and platform configuration. - Hands-on experience with integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server, and third-party systems and Integration Hub's capabilities to build integrations using Spokes and Flows. - Provided ongoing support and optimization for the integrations after they have been deployed. - Knowledge of IT service management/ IT best practices including the ITIL framework. - Understand Technical and Functional requirements for ServiceNow, create workflow and prototypes for client engagements. - Designs, codes, and tests technical solutions for ServiceNow implementations. - Hands-on experience in Service Now scripting like Client Scripts, UI Policy, Business Rules, Script Include, Script Action, UI Actions, Workflow and various activities, Catalog Item, UI Script, ACL. - Assists in enforcement of development deadlines and schedules. - Understands the necessity of and contributes to coding standards. - Independently researches and resolves more complex technical problems. - Based on customer requirements, formulates/defines systems scope and objectives. - Experience of working in a distributed environment preferred. Preferred : - Experience with ServiceNow's Performance Analytics, Virtual Agent, and AI-driven capabilities. - Exposure to Agile methodologies and tools. - Experience in cloud-based service management solutions. - Certified on industry best practices such as : ServiceNow certifications.
