Job Description
Job Overview : CredFlow is looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to help us build, automate, and maintain our infrastructure and deployment processes. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in optimizing our continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline, ensuring high availability, and scaling the infrastructure to meet the needs of a rapidly growing user base. You'll collaborate closely with our engineering teams to ensure smooth and efficient operations from development to production. Key Responsibilities : - Infrastructure Automation : Design, implement, and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible. - CI/CD Pipeline Management : Develop and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment, testing, and integration processes. - Cloud Infrastructure Management : Manage and optimize cloud resources (AWS, GCP, Azure) for scalability, cost-efficiency, and reliability. - Monitoring & Incident Management : Set up comprehensive monitoring and alerting systems (using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog) to proactively manage system health and uptime. - Containerization & Orchestration : Work with Docker and Kubernetes to containerize applications and manage deployments and scaling. - Collaboration : Partner with development teams to integrate their workflows into the DevOps pipeline, ensuring smooth and timely delivery of new features. - Security Best Practices : Implement and enforce security protocols, ensuring data protection and compliance with relevant standards. - Performance Optimization : Continuously assess infrastructure performance and optimize for efficiency and cost reduction. - Disaster Recovery : Ensure disaster recovery procedures are in place and regularly tested. Qualifications : - Experience : 2 years of experience in a DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) role, with a focus on CI/CD, cloud services, and automation. Technical Skills : - Proficient with AWS (or GCP/Azure), EC2, S3, RDS, and related cloud services. - Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or TravisCI. - Strong understanding of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). - Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools. - Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or similar. - Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git). - Familiarity with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and application performance tuning. - Knowledge of security best practices (e.g., IAM, encryption, VPNs). Soft Skills : - Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. - Excellent communication and teamwork skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Bonus : - Experience with serverless architectures (AWS Lambda, etc.). - Familiarity with Agile development practices. - Knowledge of financial services or fintech domain is a plus.
