Senior Engineering Manager

Posting title : Senior Engineering Manager Experience : 8 Years Location : Bangalore/ Delhi Work mode : Hybrid Primary skills : Snowflake, Azure/AWS, Python/C++/Javascript, Team Lead Qualification : Any Engineering/ Computers degree Roles & Responsibilities : - Leading multiple engineering teams, each with a charter and a roadmap of its own. - Mentoring managers, technology leads and senior engineers. - Establishing and enforcing quality standards and best practices around software engineering. - Contributing to the hiring and performance review processes. - Attending and preciding over external and internal stakeholder meetings. - Be the go-to person for all the technology needs and discussions required by the product and the business te- ams. - Drive engineering sprints and delivery cycles for crucial projects. Qualifications : - Minimum 8 years of experience building commercial software applications and platforms. - Minimum 3 years experience managing a diverse team of engineers. - Exposure to one or more programming languages, eg. Python, C++, JavaScript, etc. - Experience working with databases, both relational and nosql - Experience working with one or more cloud hyperscalers (AWS, GCP, Azure) - Experience working with Infrastructure as Code. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Good to have Skills : - Exposure to the Azure cloud platform - Experience working with Snowflake (ref:hirist.tech)
