Lead Cloud Architect - Google Cloud Platform

Key Responsibilities : 1. Cloud Architecture and Design : - Lead the design and implementation of cloud architectures across GCP, AWS, Azure, and IBM Cloud. - Develop strategies to ensure cloud solutions are scalable and high-performing. - Oversee the design of robust cloud infrastructure solutions. 2. Cloud Strategy and Cost Optimization : - Create and execute multi-cloud strategies that align with business goals. - Implement financial operations best practices to optimize cloud costs. - Maximize resource efficiency across diverse cloud platforms. 3. Security and Compliance : - Conduct comprehensive security audits and vulnerability assessments. - Identify and mitigate potential security risks to protect cloud infrastructure. - Ensure cloud solutions adhere to industry standards and regulatory requirements. 4. DevOps and Automation : - Implement DevOps principles and tools for efficient and secure deployment automation. - Design and implement deployment automation across multi-cloud environments. - Streamline IT processes to improve operational efficiency. 5. Project Management and Collaboration : - Lead cross-functional teams in delivering cloud projects. - Manage project timelines, budgets, and ensure successful delivery. - Collaborate with IT teams, senior management, and stakeholders to develop and implement cloud solutions. - Maintain detailed documentation of cloud architecture, processes, and best practices. Qualifications : - Experience : Minimum of 10 years in cloud architecture and solutions, with a strong emphasis on multi-cloud environments (GCP, AWS, Azure, IBM Cloud). - Certification : GCP Cloud Architect Certification is mandatory. - Additional certifications in AWS, Azure, or other relevant cloud platforms are highly preferred. Technical Skills : - Proficiency in designing and implementing cloud infrastructure (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS). - Strong knowledge of cloud security, networking, and storage solutions. - Hands-on experience with containerization technologies (Kubernetes, Docker). - Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices. - Financial Operations: Proven experience in cloud cost optimization and financial accountability (FinOps). Soft Skills : - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. - Strong leadership and team management capabilities. - Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. - Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - A Master's degree is a plus. Preferred Skills : - Cloud Platforms: Hands-on experience with Ali Cloud and other emerging cloud platforms. - Programming Languages: Proficiency in Python, Java, or other relevant programming languages. - Security Certifications: Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), ISMS 27001:2013 Certification, Certified Chief Information Security Officer (C|CISO) (ref:hirist.tech)
