Java Developer - Spring Boot/Hibernate

About the Role : We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Java Developer to join our dynamic team and drive the development of innovative software solutions. As a Lead Java Developer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable Java applications. You will mentor junior developers, oversee project execution, and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards. Responsibilities : 1. Technical Leadership : - Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers. - Review code for quality, efficiency, and adherence to coding standards. - Collaborate with architects to design and implement scalable and maintainable software solutions. 2. Development : - Develop high-quality Java applications using modern frameworks and technologies. - Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code. - Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues. 3. Project Management : - Estimate project timelines and resource requirements. - Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery. - Manage project risks and dependencies. 4. Continuous Improvement : - Stay up-to-date with the latest Java technologies and industry trends. - Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices. - Contribute to the development of technical standards and guidelines. Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. - 3 years of experience in Java development. - Strong understanding of Java core concepts, OOP, and design patterns. - Proficiency in Java frameworks such as Spring Boot, Spring MVC, or Hibernate. - Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture. - Experience with SQL databases and NoSQL databases (e.g. , MongoDB, Cassandra). - Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) is a plus. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team (ref:hirist.tech)
