Role Overview : As an Automation Testing Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the functionality and stability of our applications. You will work closely with development teams to identify test requirements, create automation frameworks, and optimize the overall testing process. Additionally, you will be expected to quickly adapt to new automation tools based on client needs, with internal training provided on the latest technologies. Key Responsibilities : - Design and Develop Automation Scripts : Create and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium, Java, C#, or other programming languages. - Test Automation Frameworks : Develop and improve automation frameworks to optimize testing efficiency and coverage. - Test Execution and Reporting : Execute automated tests and report results, identifying and documenting defects, and working with developers to ensure timely resolution. - Collaboration : Work closely with developers and QA teams to define test cases and ensure comprehensive test coverage for new and existing features. - Learning and Adapting : Continuously learn and adapt to new automation tools and technologies as per client requirements, with internal training provided for new tools. - Continuous Improvement : Actively contribute to enhancing the testing process, proposing improvements, and sharing insights for better testing practices. Required Skills & Qualifications : - Strong experience with Automation Testing, especially using Selenium. - Proficiency in Java or C#, or any other relevant programming language. - Automation scripting experience in creating and executing automated tests. - Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. - Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new automation tools as per client needs. - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve issues in testing processes (ref:hirist.tech)
