Job Description

Job Position : IT Support Specialist End User Services L2. Job Overview : - The System Engineer L-2 will play a critical role in supporting End User Services (EUS) and desktop operations. - This position will involve hands-on troubleshooting, advanced technical support, and maintenance of IT infrastructure to ensure high performance and reliability of desktop services. - As a Level-2 engineer, you will also manage escalated issues, provide timely solutions, and support end-users in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities : EUS IT Operations : - Oversee and manage End User Services (EUS) to ensure smooth functioning of IT operations across user endpoints. Advanced Desktop Support (L-2) : - Provide Level-2 desktop support, handling escalations and resolving complex technical issues for end-users. - This includes both hardware and software support, system configuration, and issue resolution. - Incident and Problem Management : - Track, log, and resolve incidents and problems using the appropriate ticketing system. - Ensure issues are addressed within defined SLAs to maintain operational efficiency. - Installation and Maintenance: Set up, install, and configure desktop systems and peripherals, ensuring they are up to date. - User Support and Training: Assist end-users with system-related inquiries and provide guidance on IT policies, best practices, and troubleshooting steps. - Documentation and Reporting : Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, support activities, and resolution steps. Collaboration : - Work closely with other IT support teams, vendors, and external partners to coordinate activities, implement solutions, and resolve technical challenges. Technical Skills : - Proficiency in EUS IT operations and desktop support for both hardware and software. - Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS) and basic network troubleshooting. - Familiarity with remote support tools and ticketing systems. - Knowledge of software installation, system configuration, and patch management. Soft Skills : - Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with end-users. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Requirement & Qualification : Education : Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred. Experience : Minimum of 3-5 years in a similar role, with hands-on experience in desktop support and EUS IT operations at an L-2 level. Job Details : Job type : On-site.
