IT Scrum Master

Position Name - IT Scrum master Experience - 5year Location - Hyderabad Position Summary : We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to guide and support Agile teams in delivering high-quality IT projects in a dynamic, fast-paced scrum environment. This role requires a passionate advocate of Agile methodologies, committed to driving Agile best practices, continuous improvement, and fostering a culture of collaboration. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in project management, Agile coaching, and a deep understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Key Responsibilities: Lead Agile Initiatives : - Oversee IT projects from inception to successful delivery, ensuring alignment with Agile principles. Promote Agile methodologies across teams to achieve project objectives efficiently and with high quality. Facilitate Agile Ceremonies : - Organize and facilitate backlog grooming, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to keep the team on track and focused on project goals. Support Product and IT Collaboration : - Partner closely with Product Managers and IT Team Leads to maintain and prioritize the backlog. Ensure that user stories are well-defined, estimated, and aligned with project requirements. Promote Transparency and Continuous Improvement : - Track and communicate team progress, velocity, reports, and other key metrics to stakeholders to ensure transparency. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, customer focus, and accountability within the team. Team Impediment Removal : - Proactively identify and resolve team-level impediments. Act as an advocate and point of contact for Agile practices within the team, empowering them to become self-managing and cross-functional. Agile Coaching and Team Development : - Serve as an Agile coach, mentoring team members on Agile methodologies and practices. Foster an environment of transparency, trust, and accountability that enables the team to thrive and continuously improve. Required Qualifications : Experience and Background : - 5 years of experience in IT. - 3 years as a hands-on Scrum Master and Project Management experience, with a proven track record of initiating, planning, executing, and delivering projects within scope and on time. Technical and Tool Proficiency : - Proficiency in Jira and Azure DevOps, with demonstrated experience in Agile project tracking and management. - Strong familiarity with Agile frameworks including Scrum and Kanban, with a focus on practical application in diverse team settings. - Deep understanding of the SDLC, project management tools, and methodologies. - Experience with software testing practices is a plus. Certification Requirements : - Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) through Scrum Alliance, or Agile Certified Professional (ACP) from PMI is desired. - Additional certification in Jira or Azure DevOps is desirable. Soft Skills and Competencies : - Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey Agile concepts, project status, and technical details effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences. - Proactive problem-solving skills to identify challenges, assess risks, and implement effective mitigation strategies. - Strong leadership capabilities, with a focus on fostering team cohesion, engagement, and Agile maturity.
