Senior Data Scientist - Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence

About the job : Summary/Objective : House of Spices (India) is seeking a Senior Data Scientist who will be a key player in driving our organization's data science initiatives, leveraging advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI technologies to generate actionable insights and support strategic decision-making. The role requires a blend of technical expertise and business acumen, with hands-on responsibilities in developing predictive models, working with large language models (LLMs), natural language processing (NLP), and generative AI. This role involves working closely with data engineers, BI developers, and business stakeholders, primarily utilizing the Microsoft Azure platform to deliver cutting-edge solutions. Essential Functions : Advanced Analytics & Data Science : - Lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced analytics models to solve complex business problems. - Develop predictive models and machine learning algorithms to forecast trends, optimize processes, and drive business outcomes. - Apply statistical techniques and data mining methods to extract meaningful insights from large datasets. Machine Learning & AI : - Implement and optimize machine learning models, including supervised, unsupervised, and reinforcement learning techniques. - Work with large language models (LLMs), NLP, and generative AI to develop innovative solutions, such as chatbots, recommendation engines, and automated content generation. - Monitor model performance, retrain models as needed, and ensure models are scalable and production-ready. Data Strategy & Business Insights : - Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify key challenges and opportunities where data science can provide impactful solutions. - Translate complex data analyses into clear, actionable insights that drive strategic decisions across the organization. Azure Data Science & AI Tools : - Leverage Microsoft Azure services (e.g, Azure Machine Learning, Azure Cognitive Services, Azure Databricks) to build and deploy data science solutions. - Utilize Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse Analytics, and other data services to manage and process large datasets efficiently. - Stay updated with the latest advancements in Azure AI tools and integrate them into the organization's data science practices. Collaboration & Integration : - Work closely with data engineers to ensure seamless integration of data pipelines and models within the Azure ecosystem. - Partner with BI developers to embed advanced analytics and predictive models into business intelligence tools. Technical Leadership & Mentorship : - Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior data scientists and analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation. - Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, driving the adoption of best practices within the team.
