Job Title : Data Architect (GCP Focus) Experience Required : 5-10 years Location : Remote (No location : 1.5 to 2.5 Lakhs per month Working Hours : Flexibility to work in European and US/Canada time zones Job Description : We are seeking an experienced Data Architect with a strong focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to join our team on an immediate basis. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of GCP services, data architecture best practices, and hands-on experience with the latest cloud-based data tools and technologies. In this role, you will be responsible for architecting, implementing, and managing scalable, reliable, and secure data solutions in GCP to support our data-driven initiatives. Key Responsibilities : - GCP Expertise : Demonstrate proven experience as a Data Architect with a strong focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). - GCP Services Proficiency : Utilize extensive knowledge of core GCP services, including BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataproc, Dataflow, and Pub/Sub, to architect efficient and robust data solutions. - Data Modeling and Warehousing : Design and manage data models and data warehousing solutions that align with business needs, ensuring efficient data storage, retrieval, and transformation. - ETL Development : Oversee the design and implementation of Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes to streamline data flow across multiple sources, supporting seamless data integration. - Data Governance and DLP : Implement data cataloging, classification, and labeling strategies for data management, and apply GCPs Data Loss Prevention (DLP) services to ensure sensitive data is protected and regulatory compliance is met. - Security and Compliance : Apply knowledge of security best practices and regulatory compliance to build secure and compliant data architectures, ensuring that data privacy and integrity are maintained. - Infrastructure as Code : Hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC), enabling the automated provisioning, scaling, and managing of GCP resources. - Problem-Solving : Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical challenges in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. - Collaboration and Leadership : Exhibit strong leadership skills, including the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical : - 5 to 10 years of experience in data architecture or related roles, with a significant focus on GCP. - Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience with GCP data services, ETL processes, data modeling, and warehousing. - Proficiency in Terraform for managing cloud infrastructure. - Familiarity with data governance practices, data security, and data privacy regulations. - Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work flexibly across time zones and collaborate within a global team.
