MDM Developer - Data Management

Job Title : IBM MDM Developer Experience : 5Years Location : Bangalore Notice Period : 30Days Role Overview : As an IBM MDM Developer, you will be a vital part of the data management team, focusing on developing and maintaining robust master data management (MDM) solutions to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and high availability across the organization. Your expertise in IBM MDM and knowledge of Informatica MDM will drive the effectiveness of data integration and governance. This role requires collaboration with business and technical teams to define requirements, develop solutions, and ensure optimal data management practices Job Description : As an IBM MDM Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our master data management (MDM) solutions. Your expertise in both IBM MDM and Informatica MDM will be essential in ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and high availability. Key Responsibilities : MDM Solution Development : - Design and implement MDM solutions using IBM MDM and Informatica MDM. - Develop source-to-target design specifications for data integration processes. - Create, maintain, and enhance batch and API programs/modules. - Assist with testing, defect resolution, and initial data loads. - Collaborate with business SMEs to define technical specifications. - Work closely with the data management team to ensure data security and quality. - Leverage Informatica PowerCenter for ETL processes. - Evaluate and enhance data modeling requirements. - Document code design, functional specifications, and technical details. - Maintain comprehensive documentation for MDM solutions. - Source-to-Target Design : Create comprehensive source-to-target design specifications for seamless data integration processes. - Program Development : Design, develop, and enhance batch processing and API programs/modules that support data management activities. - Testing and Deployment : Collaborate in testing phases, assisting with defect resolution, system configuration, and initial data loads to ensure smooth deployment of MDM solutions. - Requirements Gathering : Collaborate with business Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to translate business requirements into technical specifications for MDM implementations. - Data Management Collaboration : Work closely with data management and governance teams to define data quality standards, ensure data security, and optimize data integration workflows. - ETL Process Management : Utilize Informatica PowerCenter to manage ETL processes, ensuring efficient and accurate data flows within the MDM framework. - Data Modeling : Evaluate, create, and enhance data models to support MDM requirements, optimizing database structures for performance and : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. - Proven experience as an MDM Developer, with expertise in IBM MDM and preferably in Informatica MDM. - Strong knowledge of object oriented design and development. - Familiarity in Java - Familiarity with RESTAPI development. - Experience with relational databases and SQL. - Cloud experience (AWS, Azure, GCP). - Informatica MDM SaaS (ref:hirist.tech)
