Senior ABAP Team Lead & Developer

We are hiring with one of our Prestigious client for the position of SAP Logistics Development Team Lead - IT Applications Delivery for a Product base company. Designation - SAP Logistics Development Team Lead Education : BA in Computer Science or Software Engineering preferred. Experience - 10 years in ABAP with 5 years in a lead role; expertise in ABAP performance optimization, Object-Oriented programming, enhancement frameworks (BADIs, User Exits), Adobe forms, IDOCs, change pointers, and Workflow. Location : Bangalore Mode : Hybrid Full Time with client Notice Period : Immediate to 60 days Job Summary : As the SAP Logistics Development Team Lead, you'll play a pivotal role in SAP development, particularly in logistics, procurement, and master data areas. You'll lead the development team, create technical solutions, review implementations, and serve as a key SAP knowledge authority. Key Responsibilities : - Design and develop technical solutions based on functional requirements in logistics and procurement. - Lead hands-on SAP development (ABAP/UI5) and oversee the team's delivery. - Collaborate with functional teams to integrate SAP solutions seamlessly. - Provide guidance on using standard SAP technologies to optimize solutions. - Ensure adherence to delivery timelines, quality, and budget. - Document solutions following enterprise methodologies and best practices. What We're Looking For : Experience : 10 years in ABAP with 5 years in a lead role; expertise in ABAP performance optimization, Object-Oriented programming, enhancement frameworks (BADIs, User Exits), Adobe forms, IDOCs, change pointers, and Workflow. SAP Knowledge : Strong understanding of modules like MM, IM, MDM, WM; experience with inbound/outbound deliveries, GR & GI, and supporting complex SAP ECC systems. Tech Stack : - Proficiency in HANA, Web Dynpro, UI5/Fiori, SAP BASIS, SOLMAN/CHARM. - Knowledge in middleware (SAP-PI, Tibco, DataStage) is a plus. (ref:hirist.tech)
