Job Description

Job Designation : Manual Test Engineer - WFH and WFO Job description : - Candidate should have good understanding of the SDLC and STLC - Experience in Manual Testing - Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to liaise with a variety of stakeholders. - Collaborate with development and QA teams to identify and troubleshoot issues. - Ensure timely completion of assigned tasks and projects. - Participate in project planning and estimation activities. - Continuously improve and streamline the manual testing process. - Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and software testing methodologies. - Ability to design and execute effective manual test plans and test cases. - Understand and analyze the requirements from the client and read all the documents like BRS and decide what needs to be tested. - Analyze BRS and get knowledge transfer for CR-change request. - Participating in preparing Test Plans. - Execute Manual test cases as required by the project - Prepare Test Cases and Test Data for the test cases - Prepare Test Environment to execute the test cases - Defect reporting and tracking till closure - Execute automation suite for regression cycles as required. - Carry out regression testing every time when changes are made to the code to fix defects - Give mandatory information of a defect to developers in order to fix it - Prepare Summary Reports - Compliance of all required documentation - Contribute to Team Review Meetings - Prepare and maintain test case repositories. - Understand and follow the QA processes at Client site (ref:hirist.tech)
