Come join us and help us build The DNA of tech. Job Location: Vishay Semiconductor Italiana spa is site focused on the design, development and production of power diodes and power modules. There are around 300 employees currently working in Northern Italy. This number is constantly growing due to our expansion plans. What you will be doing: Responsible for device bench evaluations, evaluation reports and development of datasheets, and related collateral. Work closely with design engineering team and marketing to define product features, specifications, and perform characterization tests to validate them. Assist in design win support with FAE’s and directly with customers (schematic and layout review, system verification, application notes, application related issues, system debugging and design review). Support engineering and assist QA to troubleshoot customer returns. Work cooperatively with our Strategic Marketing, R&D, & Business Development groups to guarantee that products meet specifications and customer application conditions. Technical review and maintenance of product documents. Assisting FAE's and customer's engineers in product selection. Perform competitive analysis to show Vishay product advantages. Propose specific new products for development. Track and report progress of the projects against key milestones. What you will bring along: Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering or similar. 3 years of experience with working knowledge of power management solutions at the IC and application level. Experience in full-product evaluation including HW, SW, FW etc. Experience in IC evaluation/verification. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. The ability to work with cross-functional teams. Experience in automation software (such as Python or Labview) is highly desirable.
