Join a team recognized for leadership, innovation and diversity The Sr. Project Manager has the complete responsibility for the successful planning and execution of the assigned projects from order receipt till full scope of supply delivery. In addition, the Sr. Project Manager is responsible to understand our competitive arena and customers, as well as showing initiative to learn and continuously improve company processes. Key Responsibilities Responsible and accountable for project success. Report project progresses from order to final sign off. Take care of budgeting, planning activities and priorities, trigger invoicing, assessing risk and organize project meetings and testing activities. Create and manage project schedules, change orders, understand contractual & commercial terms, negotiate with the customer on late or early deliveries; Proactively engage with customers to solve problems, clarify the scope of supply and establish all project requirements, independently and setting standards also for the younger project managers; Update ERP system with project activities, status and dates, in order to support revenue forecasting, milestones invoicing, resources loading forecasting and material procurement and manufacturing. Update project financials throughout project life and achieve project financials targets (GP%); Coordinate and communicate with internal departments including sales, legal, treasury, project and field engineering, supply chain and others, to ensure a smooth progress and completion of the project; coordinate sub-vendors to meet the overall project deadlines. Ensure project process compliance and ISO 9000, in collaboration with the Project Engineering Team. Organize trainings and train less experienced Project Managers, drive company Process Improvement, and support Global Business Process group; he/she’s accountable to support Jr. Project Manager(s) to drive project results and to support process changes within the PM group. Education & experience University Degree is required (BSc or MSc), “Industrial, Economics and Business Engineering” or “Business Management / Economics” are preferable; 10 years of experience in project management or related field, 5 years of experience in managing control system projects, or equivalent combination of education and experience; Significant customer interaction experience in oil & gas, energy, industrial control markets; Project Management certification strongly suggested. Key skills and qualifications Business and commercial acumen, knowledge and understanding of customer business models, their go-to-market strategies, how they make money, and how to link that to the needs we are capable of fulfilling. Proactive and driven for results; Thorough knowledge of methods and processes associated with operations and implementation of project execution; Demonstrated proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications, including Microsoft Project; Ability to effectively leverage internal and external resources to keep projects on track; Proven communication, negotiation and training skills – both in Italian and English; Familiarity with turbomachinery control system commissioning practices and schedules; Our offer A culture that fosters inclusion, diversity, and innovation in an international work environment; Market specific training and ongoing personal development; Experienced leaders to support your professional development.
