Position Overview The candidate will join the Prestige Product development team in the HQ in Milan. She/he will manage the development of new tyre sizes for the OE market from business discussion to industrialization. Main Responsibilities Development of tyre specifications by analysis of indoor/outdoor test results and simulations. Definition of moulds profiles & tooling by simulations. Daily interface with all the company departments (testing, quality, marketing, planning and others). Support local factory development teams for the manufacture of prototypes. Comprehensive understanding of the individual components & materials within the tyre construction, the cause and effect they have on handling, indoor integrity and other performance aspects. Interaction with the modelling team to define and develop new OE prestige projects using simulation tools and the simulator. Support in organizing outdoor test sessions to follow and understand the interaction between vehicle and tyres under various conditions (dry-wet-snow). Understanding of procedures, technical documentation and legal certifications required for the industrialization of the tyres. Required Skills Master Degree in Mechanical/Aerospace/Material Engineering. 1 to 5 years in the Tyre or the Automotive industry. Ability to summarize synthetically the results and formulate an action plan. Team working within R&D, Quality, Logistics, OE to ensure correct and precise circulation of project information. Project management, reporting and problem solving skills. Expertise in Vehicle dynamic is considered a plus. Fluent in English (German as a plus). Excellent skills in MS Office, CAD software.
