Job Description
Key Responsibilities: Implement water conservation strategies and projects. Manage and supervise a team of technicians to ensure efficient task execution. Monitor project progress, ensuring alignment with goals and deadlines. Conduct site inspections to identify areas for improvement in conservation efforts. Collaborate with departments and stakeholders for seamless project delivery. Provide technical support and training to team members as needed. Maintain accurate records and prepare regular reports for management. Qualifications and Experience: Valid South African Drivers License South African citizen or holder of a valid work permit National Diploma (NDip) in Civil Engineering, Water Management, or a related field Registered as a Candidate with ECSA Over 3 years of experience in municipal water projects, including water demand, conservation, metering, and distribution Proven experience in managing teams and overseeing technical projects Strong understanding of water conservation principles and practices Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Attributes and Skills Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Strong technical problem-solving abilities Effective report writing skills Solid administrative skills Excellent time management Strong verbal and written communication skills Strong interpersonal abilities Planning and organizational skills Relationship-building capabilities Team collaboration skills Knowledge of municipal products and bylaws Willingness to travel throughout South Africa
