Senior Safety Manager

Share People Hub, in partnership with a global automotive company, is searching for a Senior Safety Manager.

What You’ll Do:

The Senior Safety Manager is responsible for:

  1. Setting principles, frameworks, processes, and measures to release an item free of unreasonable risk when operated in an intended context as per ISO 26262 for customer developments.
  2. Creating a proper interface between the relevant customer contact partners and the safety team.
  3. Gathering the expectations from customers and transferring them to the safety team, and monitoring them for their achievement.
  4. Coordinating the safety activities for project safety development.
  5. Monitoring the agreements made between customer and safety team.
  6. Coordinating the safety activities (ISO-26262 Parts 2, 4, 5, 6).
  7. Being responsible for the Safety Plan.
  8. Being responsible for the DIA.
  9. Monitoring and controlling the safety activities according to the safety plan and/or DIA.
  10. Escalating deviations to the safety plan and/or DIA.
  11. Monitoring parties and suppliers that deliver the work products on time.
  12. Gathering metrics about the status of safety activities.
  13. Reporting periodically the status of activities.
  14. Gathering safety cases and safety release recommendations.
  15. Conducting impact analysis of processes open points.
  16. Being responsible for the component safety release recommendation.
  17. Being a contact partner for audit/assessment topics.
  18. Coordinating the audit and confirmation review activities (ISO-26262:2 6).
  19. Being responsible for the safety audit/assessment plan.
  20. Analyzing the processes open points and providing possible solutions.
  21. Creating templates.
  22. Reviewing the release recommendations.
  23. Reviewing the requirements for correctness and completeness against input requirements and ISO 26262.
What You'll Need:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. A university degree in courses related to Electrical, Power Electronics, or Mechatronics.
  2. Domain knowledge in project management and customer interface.
  3. Experience in ePowerTrain, JPEV, EMI/EMC.
  4. Experience in ISO 26262-Engineering.
  5. Experience in quality standards.
  6. Familiarity with core tools: IBM Rational Doors, HP ALM, Jira, and Configuration Management (SVN).
